WIBOR is coming to an end. As we reported in our first WIBOR replacement newsletter, work on replacing WIBOR with an alternative benchmark started earlier this year. On 28 September 2022 the national working group for the reform of benchmarks announced WIRON as the alternative benchmark to replace WIBOR. What are the main features of the new benchmark? What is the timeline for the transition from WIBOR? And finally, how does this affect credit agreements and derivatives documentation?
