Founded in 1985, the Legal Marketing Association (LMA) is the universal voice of the legal marketing and business development profession.
The LMA community is comprised of more than 4,200 members, with more than 95 percent of the largest 200 U.S. law firms employing an LMA member. Members at every stage in their career development – from CMOs to entry-level specialists from firms of all sizes, consultants, vendors, lawyers and other marketers from adjacent industries – benefit from participating in LMA’s array of programs and services.
• Entry-level members may attend a “boot camp” that introduces them to the profession, access templates and reports that they may use on the job and attend in-person and online educational events each year to help grow their careers.
• Senior practitioners may receive special recognition in our Hall of Fame, contribute their thought leadership through industry publications and help strengthen the profession through mentoring and leadership opportunities.
• Consultants, service providers and vendors may take advantage of frequent networking opportunities to help grow their business, learn best practices from fellow service providers and be recognized for supporting legal marketing excellence through the Your Honor Awards
