We have received several inquiries regarding the timing of the new Department of Labor (DOL) wage and hour regulations which will raise the minimum salary basis for exempt employees from $23,660 to $50,440, among other changes. The DOL has announced that it is planning to put these new regulations into effect in July of 2016.

Miller & Martin will be hosting seminars which will address these changes, along with other wage and hour topics, on April 21, 2016 in Chattanooga and on April 19, 2016 in Nashville. So, SAVE THE DATE if you are in the area!
