David C. Henderson and Matthew Ritchie, partners in Nutter’s Litigation Department, authored an article that analyzes the Attorney General’s guidance on a 2016 amendment to the Massachusetts Equal Pay Act (MEPA) that will take effect on July 1, 2018. In the article, “MEPA Self-Evaluations Contain Pitfalls for Employers,” David and Matt discuss how employers should think carefully about whether and how to conduct the self-evaluation of their pay practices that the AG’s guidance encourages.
