The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) recently sued two employers based on the form of their severance agreements. In each case, the EEOC argued that the agreement improperly limited the rights of a former employee to participate in the EEOC complaint process. EEOC v. CVS Pharmacy, Inc., Civ. A.
